Designed for a very specific sound and with an architecture set up to achieve it, Degdrôn is perfect for industrial and dystopian doom drones and soundscapes, ideal for cinematic film and game soundtracks and all types of ambient and electronic music.
Ten Oscillator Architecture
Degdrôn has ten oscillators grouped into five banks of two, each with its own AHDSR envelope, panning control, saturation control, delays and reverb sends and pitch and gate modulation, giving a truly unique sound design experience.
The Mutilator
The signal from each of the five banks of oscillator pairs are passed through a custom eight-mode waveshaper, bit-rate reducer and filter module, known as The Mutilator.
With a massive 10 oscillators at your disposal, Degdrôn (which means “ten drones” in Welsh) offers unparalleled depth and richness in your sound design.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is this FREE?
Degdrôn started as an experiment, and honestly, while it is HUGE fun, it’s also a bit weird. Many of our experiments never see the light of day, but this one was just too good to keep to ourselves, so we decided to add a user interface and release it. The combination of the output of the 10 oscillators and their associated effects and modulations can create incredible sounding patches, but the interplay between them can also make it quite unpredictable. So, if you are as excited about experimentation in sound design as we are in instrument and effect development, Degdrôn is probably right up your street. Please don’t say we didn’t warn you about the weirdness, though!
